Ready, set, grow …

The garden tap is running. Michèle is a regular presenter on Melbourne Channel 31’s gardening programme The Garden Tap. She presents a segment called Ready Set Grow, that’s about down-to-earth gardening and some of her favourite plants. The segments are filmed on location at Peach Flat with Rod behind the camera and in the editing room.

The first segment was about one of her top ten terrier plants for toughness – drought and frost tolerant and just about bullet-proof Chaenomeles speciosa, Flowering Quince or Japonica. The plant profile is also detailed in Michèle’s Learning Guide A204 Plants (July – December).

In Melbourne, The Garden Tap can be viewed on Friday nights at 7 pm, with repeat runs on Saturday at 10.30 am and Monday at 3.00 pm and online http://www.c31.org.au/show/our_shows

In Sydney starting October 13, The Garden Tap will be aired on Community Channel TVS, www.tvs.org.au.
